PICONET Luncheon 2014

This year the PICONET get together was held on Saturday, September 12th. We again met at The Cactus in Perham MN. It was another great event with hams from Iowa, Wisconsin, North and South Dakota and all corners of Minnesota. There were many mobile antennas seen as the PICONET'ers arrived. A good selection of ham gear was available in the parking lot before the meeting. We had good weather again this year.

It was another great gathering of PICONET'ers. Thanks to Bud, N0KCM for coordinating the event. Also, thanks to Bud for donating a wireless weather station and a 2M hand held radio for a raffel to raise money to keep the PICONET web page going. Thanks to all who donated money and bought raffel tickets. The operation was a success and as a result, we met our goal for another 3 years. Thanks to Bob and Jacki and Charles and Kathy for being the host and hostes, greeting everyone and logging everyone in. Thanks to all that donating door prizes and did those behind the scene things that made this year another great event. Until next year, we look forward to seeing you and even more friends next year.
